Sam is a classically trained Baritone with a warm, rich tone and a vocal range from E2-G4. He was recently in the Thursford Christmas Spectacular 2025 and tours with Four Seasons tribute group 'Big Girls Don't Cry' and ‘The West End Tenors’. Since graduating with a degree in Music from The University of Manchester in 2017, Sam went on to perform as a vocalist for Warner Leisure Hotels, the Thursford Christmas Spectacular, and Ikos Resorts. He has sung live in Concert with Hans Zimmer and Sir Karl Jenkins, and has also sung various times at the BBC Proms and on BBC Radio's 3 and 4.

The surprise factor for me was not that the music students were so outstanding, but that they also had some contemporary numbers, including Sam Saunders who sounded like Frank Sinatra singing Andy Williams' "it's the most wonderful time of the year" - as host Joseff Edwards and Grace Rudge commented immediately afterwards "it's like having Michael Buble singing at your Carol Service.
