VOCAL EXPERIENCE December 2008 – Present: Community Come and Sing Days I have also taken part in several sing from scratch choirs and come & sing days. This has entailed a full day rehearsal and then a concert in the evening. Earlier this year I took part in a come & sing day where we sung Handel’s Messiah. September 2014 – July 2016: Ealing Choral Society Throughout the last two years I have sung in multiple concerts with Ealing Choral Society as a bass. In the choir we have sung many works, most recently Handel’s Messiah and Mozart’s Requiem. September 2014 – June 2016: Voces8 Young Leaders Programme in conjunction with Apollo 5 This entailed a two hour session every other week in which we would learn how to teach children aged 8-14 to sing and be young musicians. In January 2015 - June 2016 we went out into the local community as well as some schools further afield where we put our skills we had learnt into practice. In addition to this I have sung in several concerts with the world renowned vocal groups as well as assisted them in planning and managing multiple concerts, including being the host for one of the concerts. September 2009 – June 2016: School Choral Experience During my school career I have been in multiple choirs in Treble, Alto and Bass vocal parts. Most recently I was in three choirs singing bass in a range of styles from pop to plainsong to large scale choral works. These choirs have enabled me to sing in frequent concerts inside and out of the school context, as well as giving me the chance to sing with full orchestras and also a cappella with just one voice to each part. I have also been on tour to Belgium with two of the choirs from school. September 2006 – June 2011: Chorister at Ealing Abbey Consisting of two services a week, and five hour rehearsals a week. In addition to this during religious festivals we would have several more rehearsals a week and one or more services each day. In the choir we would also sing for private events such as Weddings and Funerals. In my time there we undertook two CD recordings and a television advert; as well as go on tour to both Strasbourg and the USA. As a result I have sung in some amazing venues such as: the Cadogan Hall, Royal Albert Hall, Strasbourg Cathedral and Washington National Cathedral. During my time in the choir I was a Music Scholar at St Benedict's School and in my last two years at the choir I had a senior position of Abbot Scholar. TRUMPET EXPERIENCE 2015 – Present: Trumpet Session Work I have and continue to support several groups, bands and ensembles as well as having done solo work as a professional musician. September 2015 – August 2016: Ealing Youth Orchestra With Ealing Youth Orchestra I have done several concerts and been on tour to Germany with the position of 1st trumpet. September 2013 – June 2016: Trumpet experience at St Benedict’s School Ealing Most recently I was in two school bands and the school orchestra, within which I was principle trumpet in all. In the Big Band I have performed in and out of school, including having been on two tours to Spain and Germany. This year in a performance competition I came away with first place. September 2016: Goldsmiths College At Goldsmiths I play 1st Trumpet in the Orchestra and Principle in the Jazz Ensemble.
