Sam was sensational in what was a very special moment for us. Very talented and delivered with soul and class. Exceptional stage psychology, his timing was precise. Great communication. Very highly recommended.

Sam was brilliant. He was extremely kind and accommodating, professional and most importantly a fantastic performer. He even learnt a new song that I requested. Thank you Sam for helping make my party such a fun night!

Sam was great to deal with through the whole booking process, always quick to respond to messages. On the day he turned our little wedding into a party for the evening. Thank you Sam, looking for an excuse to use you again :)

We booked Sam from 7.00 - 10.00 pm therefore little surprised to see him all set up when we arrived at reception venue at 6.00 as we were to play our play list until 7.00 and then Sam to entertain us until 10.00. We thought perhaps he’d decided to start a little earlier through until 10.00 but he was packed up and gone by 9.00 before we realised it. Am guessing communication issue between Encore and Sam as our booking confirmation clearly stated 7.00 - 10.00. Obviously disappointed over the early exit as we weren’t prepared for that but otherwise, Sam entertained us well albeit not for long enough.

This is the second time we have hired Sam to play for a wedding. He played at my wedding 2 years ago and all the guests were very impressed and didn't want him to stop playing! We loved his music so much that we hired him to play at my step daughter's wedding this past weekend. His voice is beautiful and his piano playing is pure artistry. I do so wish I had a CD to listen to him every evening!

I booked Halfway to New York for my 40th Birthday party in October. The party had a Nashville theme and Sam and the band went out of their way to accommodate my love of country music! Sam spent time working through the playlist to ensure that it worked with the theme but that we also had a good mix of music to keep the dancing going throughout the evening. The band were absolutely amazing and my friends are still talking about them. I would not hesitate in booking them again.
