Saints-On-Sea

We are Saints-On-Sea! Geographically because we’re based in St Leonard’s-on-sea and of course because we sing like angels! We love to put original spins on well known pop, folk and indie songs. We love to build fun, quirky and haunting 3 part harmonies. Featured in our music is live guitar, cello, ukulele, flute and piano. Not to mention the occasional shaky egg. We are perfect for drink receptions, private events, garden parties and weddings. We started singing together at an infamous open mic night in St Leonard’s in a gorgeous American style bar. For fun at first, we soon discovered we were really onto something and so decided to pursue the band more seriously. With all of our backgrounds in theatre, we are extremely personable and emotionally connected to the music. We choose all our songs because they move us in some way. We get into character for an event depending on the tone. We love to laugh with our audience and interact but equally can channel our more romantic or sombre sides! Gigging around St Leonard’s and its next door neighbour, Hastings has brought us so much joy. The local crowd are loyal followers and there’s nothing better than doing a show and then ending up on the beach for a sunset beer after.
