Saachi

We are a Jazz-Pop band playing exciting, eclectic, original music; featuring keys, kit, brass and bass, with high energy vocals. We have played numerous Cambridge student events including Jesus, Johns, Trinity and Magdalene May Balls, as well as headlining the Union Spring Ball and live show Cam FM presents at Revolution. Other student gigs include the Hawks and Ospreys ball and Clare Ents. We have also played at high profile venues in London like the Camden Barfly, Brick Lane's 93 Feet East and the Garage. Our recordings have been featured on Cam FM and Cambridge 105, and as Cambridge Band Competition finalists, our performance from the Junction was broadcast on Cambridge TV. In 2017, we were finalists of the Isle of Wight Festival New Blood competition, getting into the top 8 out of over 2000 entrant acts. Lead singer Saachi Sen's songwriting has gained high level recognition, winning PRS for Music’s Lynsey de Paul prize and featuring on compilation albums from Roundhouse and EMI’s ‘30/30’ project and SongAcademy UK. Saachi is a Roundhouse Resident Artist for 2017-18.
