Sergio Prazeres is a Portuguese singer and guitarist.
Sergio has kept the flame alive for authenticating the wonderful rhythmic and pulsating sound of Brazil, bringing a shimmering, scintillating pulse to Bossa Nova, Samba, and MPB (Música Popular Brasileira). His stunning guitar and vocals resonate beautifully with the majesty of that wonderful country’s musical tradition. Accompanying Sergio in Bossa Trio are Nick Gould ( tenor sax) and Kevin Dorrian (percussion), bringing extra vibrancy to the music. Bossa Trio can also be joined by our special guest artist from Brazil, vocalist Giulia Drummond, adding her distinct Shruti Box and percussion accompaniment
Sergio has toured in several countries, including Portugal, Spain, Scotland, England, Brazil, Denmark, the Netherlands, and Italy, as a solo, duo, and trio.
