RYAN UPTON SINGER / MALE VOCALIST I am a Pop/Soul/Jazz performer from Basingstoke (Hampshire, UK) with plenty of live experience with performances up & down the country. My singing career started off when I was 18 taking to the music world uploading covers every week & gaining a big following. Having a steady & growing fanbase in the UK & around Europe is a huge thing for me and my music. Starting off with my biggest achievement so far which would have to be winning the UK Singer category out of thousands of applicants in the European singing competition TourMusicFest which is in association with Sony Music Italy. Flying out to Rome to perform in the European grand final at the Auditorium Del Massimo in front of thousands and very high standard of judging panel including American Singer/Songwriter Kara DioGuardi who has previously worked with Jason Derulo, Pink, Kelly Clarkson & more. Other venues where I have performed include 02 academy (Liverpool, London & Boscombe) The institute (Birmingham) Civic Hall (Wolverhampton) Classic Grand (Glasgow) & many more unique venues. I have entered a few competitions including OpenMicUK & Chelmsford’s got talent where I finished 3rd out of hundreds of applicants. I have also performed twice on the Forum Stage in the pre show entertainment area inside the Birmingham LG Arena for the Robbie Williams and Jess Glynne crowd on their UK Tours. These two gigs helped a lot with gaining more exposure for myself. I have also been a support act for a few well-known singers around the UK. I have supported and performed alongside Union J, Kimberly Wyatt, James Smith, Mic Lowry & Jake Quickenden. Being asked to perform at these events whilst gaining a following was such an achievement for me. I also love to do a charity event now and again, with my first being Soccer Six. Soccer Six is a football charity celebrity event where Singers, Reality TV stars and more get the chance to meet fans, play football and perform. I played this event with stars including James Arthur, Dappy, Olly Murs & many more. I feel as if great publicity for artists is also key in the music industry. I have had a few interviews for BBC Radio Berkshire, Basingstoke Gazette & more. Performing at festivals and Christmas light switch on is what makes it. I have performed at Thurrock Fest, Burton VMG Fet, Southend On Sea Fest & more.
