Ryan Meaney

Ryan has toured worldwide with his band New Rules including supporting artists such as Little Mix, Julia Michaels, Jake Scott, Neon Trees, Sugababes and Picture This. Born and raised in Dublin Ireland, Ryan gained most of his playing experience in the lively pubs of Temple Bar and busking on the iconic Grafton Street. He has since established himself as an artist, songwriter, producer and multi-instrumentalist at the highest level, working with some of the biggest names in the music industry in London, Los Angeles and Nashville and performing all over the world in Europe, America and Asia. Ryan's performance style is singer-songwriter and takes influence from artists such as John Mayer, Paolo Nutini and Ed Sheeran. When performing covers he has played at a range of events such as weddings, birthdays and has held residencies in several Dublin and London pubs. Although his set is acoustic led, he also uses a kick drum pad which makes him suitable for both chilled and livelier events. His covers set can be up to 5 hours with a wide range of songs from almost every era of popular music. Ryan can also play by ear and take requests on the night to play whatever is asked (within reason) as well as learning special requests from the booker in advance of the event. He also has a lot of experience as a backing singer so is more than happy to have people up to sing with accompaniment if they wish to.
