Ruthann is an amazing singer with a truly unique and exceptional tone and vocal range. Her beautiful solo rendition of my mother's favourite song at her funeral service was an absolutely precious moment that our family will never forget. The emotion she conveyed perfectly captured the special meaning the song held for Mum, and it brought great comfort to us all. There wasn't a dry eye in the room, and the entire family was deeply moved. Everyone who attended the service commented on how incredible Ruthann's singing was and how much it added to such a meaningful farewell. I would wholeheartedly recommend Ruthann to anyone looking for a truly gifted and compassionate singer. She is an outstanding talent, and we will always be grateful for the beautiful part she played in honouring Mum's memory.

Ruthann sang at my dad's funeral, and her performance was truly beautiful, celebrating a life well lived. Her singing brought comfort and hope, helping to lift the spirits of everyone present during such a difficult time. Ruthann has a God-given talent and prepares thoroughly for every event. Her voice is calm, comforting, and deeply moving. She created an atmosphere of dignity and peace, beautifully reflecting the solemnity of the occasion while bringing comfort to all who attended. I would wholeheartedly recommend her.

What do your clients love most about your performances?

Clients love the emotion, warmth, and authenticity I bring to every performance. They describe my voice as soulful, unique, and deeply moving, with the ability to create an atmosphere of peace, joy, and connection. Whether performing at weddings, funerals, or private events, guests often comment on how my singing makes special moments even more memorable.

Which venues have you performed at in the past?

I have performed at churches, wedding venues, funeral services, school assemblies, community events, and private celebrations across the UK. I've also performed as part of the acclaimed Gospel Touch Choir and in a Sister Act tribute production.

Which artists have you been most influenced by?

I'm inspired by a blend of gospel, soul, jazz, and R&B artists. Some of my biggest influences include Aretha Franklin, CeCe Winans, Whitney Houston, Jennifer Hudson, Nina Simone and Lauryn Hill. Their vocal artistry, emotional storytelling, and authenticity have shaped my own style, which combines soulful vocals with heartfelt, expressive performances.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

We always try our best to be flexible to help ensure your event runs as smoothly as possible. If timings change slightly in the run up to the event just let us know.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

Unfortunately, we are unable to provide an iPod/DJ service before or between sets. Our focus is delivering a bespoke live music experience for your special occasion. For continuous entertainment, we recommend arranging a dedicated DJ or background music service and we would be happy to work alongside your chosen supplier to create a seamless experience.

How much time do you need to set up?

We typically set up 1–1.5 hours before the performance time. In this time we set up our equipment, complete sound checks, and ensure everything is perfectly prepared for your special occasion.

Can I pick the pieces you play from the set list?

Our set lists are crafted from countless performances and learning what works best to ensure guests dance and have an amazing time. However, we're definitely happy to chat through and make sure we find what works for your event.

Do you bring all the equipment you need to perform?

Yes, absolutely! I bring my own PA equipment, along with backing tracks, allowing me to deliver a high-quality live performance with excellent sound.

Can you learn specific pieces before the event?

If a song isn't included in our song list there may still be a chance we already know it. If there is a special song you'd like us to learn we are happy to do this for you. There is a fee of £30 for this service to take into account rehearsal times etc.
