Ruth Dingle is currently studying at the Guildhall School of Muisc and Drama where she is supported by a scholarship from the Guildhall School Trust. She studies the French Horn with Sue Dent and the Violin with Bartosz Woroch. Previously Ruth studied at The Purcell School for Young Musicians and the Royal College of Music Junior Department. Ruth has played with many orchestras including the National Youth Orchestra, London Mahler Orchestra, National Youth Chamber Orchestra and the Arch Sinfonia. In 2015 she performed with the NYO in the Royal Albert Hall BBC Proms and Konzerthaus Berlin, conducted by Sir Mark Elder. She has also worked with conductors such as John Wilson, Peter Stark and Paul Daniels. In 2014 Ruth performed Brahms four songs for voices harp and horn at the Wigmore Hall, she has also performed with her wind quintet at the Wigmore Hall. In 2015 she performed Thuille's sextet for wind quintet and piano at St. James Church, Piccadilly. Ruth also enjoys teaching and outreach, recently she visited Germany to perform and run workshops in refugee centres there.
