Rudi Eastwood

As pianist and conductor, Rudi has performed at venues across the globe and worked with numerous orchestras including the St. Petersburg State Philharmonic in Russia and the Karaganda State Symphony Orchestra in Kazakhstan. Rudi formerly directed the St. Petersburg British Music Festival, a large-scale annual celebration of British classical music which played host to many well-known composers and featured performances of solo, chamber and orchestral works. In addition to a busy performance schedule, Rudi directs the Tapiola Piano School, which since its inception in 2012, has grown to provide expertise tuition in schools across the UK. Rudi currently resides in Durham with his wife and two children, where he is active as a pianist, conductor and teacher.
