We had the pleasure of having Ruby Rouge play at our wedding in October, bringing the exact atmosphere you want when you book a band. The variety of songs keeps everyone up and dancing throughout the night, it was the best decision having them with us on our special day!. Drinks reception5 musicians

Two performances of up to 45 mins each during your drinks reception from our trio Elsie and the Emeralds. This is a reduced fee only offered when our band Ruby Rouge is booked for main entertainment.

Ibiza Classics set5 musicians

This set is performed by our vocalist and drummer who is an insatiable percussionist. Together Bongo Boi and Elsie perform and Ibiza style roaming set which they can perform with any DJ or solo immersed in the crowd. This set works well as a surprise set after your guests have finished their dessert or after the band with a DJ

What do your clients love most about your performances?

We have worked very hard to ensure that crowd interaction is a key element of our performance. A couple of our musicians may even surprise you by popping up in the crows every now and then, too, making for a more immersive experience.

What is the most high profile gig you've performed?

We recently performed for the South African Rugby team, the Springboks, when they were in Jersey last month. Our biggest bookings are corporate and finance companies, usually for 600+ at the RJA in Jersey.

Will the singer be the same as who I see in the videos?

Our lead vocalist is also our band manager, so Elsie, who you see in videos, will always be your point of contact and singer for the day.

Do you have different line-up options?

Our line-up is as follows: Vocals, Guitar, Bass, Keys and Drums. We can add a saxophone, a second guitarist and additional backup vocalists if a larger sound is required.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

We always try our best to be flexible to help ensure your event runs as smoothly as possible. If timings change slightly in the run-up to the event, just let us know. However, it's likely that we will need to travel for the booking, so we ask that travel costs be covered.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

Absolutely. This is a really popular request, and we actually offer this service for free. We usually just ask that a device be provided for the background music of your choice. If you'd like a DJ service via our PA after the final set until the event finishes, we provide this and can offer a list of very talented DJs that we have partnered with.

How much time do you need to set up?

We ask for a 3-hour window before your guests arrive, especially if we have booked a stage and backdrop to be installed before our equipment set-up and sound check can begin. The minimum we require is an hour if, for example, at a wedding, the band placement is also where the top table sits in the venue.

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

We believe that the setlist we offer is the absolute best of our ability, and we have been working on it since the beginning of time to ensure your guests dance from start to finish. If you'd like to swap a song or two out, we can accommodate this, but we usually ask our clients to trust our judgment and professionalism.

Is all of the equipment (e.g. PA & lighting) included in your quote?

If our sound engineer is booked within our package, then yes. He will provide all sound equipment and some basic lighting, and we will provide the instruments. If he is not booked and you are using a tech company, that is fine, and we will remove his fee from our quote.

Can you learn song requests before the event?

We are more than happy to learn and perform a couple's first dance song if it works with our instruments. We just ask for a minimum of two months' notice to factor in rehearsals.
