Customer questions

What do your clients love most about your performances?

We get lots of great comments about our show...especially our harmonies!! Our presentation and lighting is also a common talking point.

Which venues have you performed at in the past?

Collectively, we have over 180 years experience in the entertainment business (that's still less than the Rolling Stones!!) and between us we have done just about everything from theatres, weddings, private parties, social clubs and everything in between...we could probably write a book!! Scott even played at Glastonbury in 1984 (when he was just 6!!....LOL)

Which artists have you been most influenced by?

Ooooh That's a tough one....anything with a good tune and a great harmony or two!

What is the most high profile gig you've performed?

Supporting Martha Reeves & The Vandellas....they were awesome but treated us as equals...(which we clearly were not!!)

Do you have different line-up options?

No we only come as a three-piece. The band is polished to a high standard and each member of the band make their own unique contribution to the sound.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

We will always try our best to be flexible and we appreciate that things don't always go to plan, but we will always do everything we can to ensure your event runs as smoothly as possible,

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

Background music between sets is included as standard for all our shows if required.

How much time do you need to set up?

As our lighting is integral to our show, we would normally need around1.5 hours to set up, depending on venue access.

Can you roam around while you perform?

No sorry...Keyboards are heavy and our backs aren't what they were!!

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

Yes of course

Is all of the equipment (e.g. PA & lighting) included in your quote?

Absolutely..the lighting is all part of the show!!!

Can you learn song requests before the event?

Yes if its from the 60's!!

Fantastic 60’s tribute show/party band featuring great up-tempo songs that are rarely performed by other acts on the circuit. I particularly like the Motown numbers and it’s lovely to hear the ‘Girl songs’ from the sixties too, a rare treat as there are so few lady singers in sixties bands! Their harmonies are second to none, along with their light-show and I have never seen anything like it at this level, Ruby & The Romantics are just amazing!

We booked Ruby & The Romantics for our recent 50th Wedding Anniversary. My wife and I travel all over the country to 60’s festivals and this band could hold it’s own in any show that we have seen, especially as they play a lot of the ‘girl’ songs that are rarely heard at these events. Great harmony vocals are supported by professional presentation and a lightshow that would put most acts to shame! I would not hesitate to recommend this band to anyone wanting a ‘top-drawer’ 60’s show for any event. You will not be disappointed!
