Roy Pfeffer is a London based drummer, producer and band leader. An enthusiastic and professional performer he has toured internationally with members of Badly Draw Boy, Morcheeba, Jamiroquai, Oi Va Voi and has supported the likes of Janelle Monae and Alanis Morissette. He can be heard on recordings by The Big Smoke Family, Gazel, Lisbee Stainton, Sam and The Womp, The Cosimo Matassa Project and many more. As well as playing drums he has produced Gazel's latest album "Gazel's Book Of Souls" all of The Big Smoke Family releases and singles by The Cosimo Matassa Project. He also fronts his hard grooving New Orleans funk band The Big Smoke Family regularly playing prestigious venues and festival dates with the band since 2011. A versatile drummer he has worked with projects playing New Orleans, jazz, latin jazz, funk, pop, blues, folk, middle eastern, drum n’ bass, ska, theatre productions, orchestral production and many more. “It’s all about the music for me, not just my voice but the collective voice, the team effort and the big picture”
