We are an experienced North Devon based musical duo playing a tuneful and eclectic mix of rock, rock n roll, pop, Indie and New Wave anthems, covers and original material - all played in our unique style. There's even the odd Dance and Disco song in our setlist. We're very versatile, playing anything from melodic background music suitable for the quieter times at a Reception or when dining through to full blown upbeat pop and rock n roll for an evening event. There's something for everyone in our musical set of keyboard, electro acoustic and vocalised harmonies. Many songs are played with our own special twist and interspersed with light hearted banter and audience interraction. Providing the best entertainment and enjoying ourselves along the way is our mantra.

We had a great afternoon with Rough Justice playing for 20 of us for a hen weekend at a glamping site. Song chooses were great, both really lovely guys and they finished off our Saturday afternoon perfectly.

Rough Justice performed at our first ever Market Fest event in September 2021 and played a central role in what was one of the best days we’ve had for a long time. Mr Rough (keyboard/vocals), Mr Justice (guitar/vocals) and Mr Sticks (drums) are quality musicians who know how to entertain with their unique twist on well-known and original songs, backed up by colourful outfits, banter, audience interaction and extravagant dancing. Andy and I really didnt consider a band for our wedding at Tunnels Beaches but after looking to see if any pubs had bands on whilst we were in Ilfracombe, we came across Rough Justice. We honestly did not know what to expect other than they played music we like and were quirky, right up our street. From the offset, they were amazing, they learnt Demons, Imagine Dragons for our first dance and kept the atmosphere bouncing for the entire evening. They made the our day even more perfect than it already was. I would highly recommend anyone in Ilfracombe or surrounding areas to check them out and if like us, you want a band that loves music, makes everything fun and likes a beer afterwards, then book these guys, doesn't have to be for a wedding or a party, can be for a Tuesday night to liven the week!!! Every single one of our guests commented to us on how good they were and how perfect they were for our day. Massive thank you to you guys!!!!

Do you have different line-up options?

We also perform in similar, albeit more "pop" fashion as a trio and function band called "Good Times" (also on Encore) with an additional guitar and drums. Our regular four band members also play in a band called Falling Apart, best described as "punk rock n roll cabaret" (again, also on Encore).

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

We always try our best to be flexible to help ensure your event runs as smoothly as possible. If timings change slightly in the run up to the event just let us know

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

We can provide an ipod service free of charge and our PA is available for use by a DJ for an additional fee.

How much time do you need to set up?

We usually set up about 45 minutes to 1 hour before the performance time. As soon as our PA is set up we can provide a free playlist service to help set the atmosphere and get your guests ready for our live performance

Can you roam around while you perform?

We're afraid not...although we can perform without access to mains power using our battery powered PA system.

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

Our set lists are crafted from countless performances and learning what works best to ensure guests dance and have an amazing time. However, we're definitely happy to chat through and make sure we find what works for your event

Is all of the equipment (e.g. PA & lighting) included in your quote?

Yes it is.

Can you learn song requests before the event?

If a song isn't included in our song list there may still be a chance we already know it. If there is a special song you'd like us to learn we are happy to do this for you. There is a fee of £40 for this service to take into account rehearsal times etc

What do your clients love most about your performances?

The fact that we're lively, quirky and friendly and Mr Rough has hands that move at the speed of light !

Which venues have you performed at in the past?

We have performed at around 120 venues over the last three years.

Which artists have you been most influenced by?

We like all good music !

What is the most high profile gig you've performed?

The Great British Alternative Music Festival at Butlins, Minehead (with our alternative band, Falling Apart) and as the duo in front of an estimated audience of 12,000 people at Downend Firework Spectacular, Bristol.
