Roses in Reverie are an acoustic duo bringing the songs you grew up loving back to life - softly. Think Blink-182 stripped back to a fingerpicked guitar, Teenage Dirtbag on violin and bouzouki, your favourite 90s and 00s anthems reimagined and reworked for the moment you say "I do", drinks receptions and the relaxed moments in between. Between us we cover vocals, violin, guitar, bouzouki and electric guitar, using live looping to build rich, layered arrangements with real depth - far from standard strummed covers. We have years of professional experience playing weddings, venues and events across the UK. Based across Shropshire, Herefordshire and Mid-Wales, we play ceremonies, drinks receptions and wedding breakfasts.

From the ceremony right through to our drinks reception, Jack and Emily were brilliant. We gave them a few songs we loved and trusted them with the rest, and they understood our taste perfectly. Our walking down the aisle song was particularly special. We’d asked them to learn a song that isn’t exactly an obvious wedding choice, but the arrangement they created was beautiful and felt completely personal to us. They are seriously talented musicians, but just as importantly they’re lovely people to have around on such an important day. Would highly recommend!

So glad I booked Roses in Reverie for my birthday party! The music was exactly what I wanted, a really lovely mix of nostalgic songs that everyone knew and loved. Would absolutely recommend them for any event!

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

If timings change slightly in the run up to the event just let us know.

How much time do you need to set up?

We need a minimum of 90 minutes to get unloaded and set up.

Can you roam around while you perform?

Yes.

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

Our set lists are crafted from countless performances and learning what works best to ensure guests dance and have an amazing time. However, we're definitely happy to chat through and make sure we find what works for your event.

Is all of the equipment (e.g. PA & lighting) included in your quote?

Yes, we bring our own PA and all our instruments. We just need access to a power socket - or a sheltered outdoor spot for ceremonies outside.

Can you learn song requests before the event?

If a song isn't included in our song list there may still be a chance we already know it. If there is a special song you'd like us to learn we are happy to do this for you. There is an additional fee for this service to take into account rehearsal times etc.
