Rosanna Wicks was born in 1999. She was a chorister for 5 years, in her last year becoming Precentor's Chorister (Deputy Head) at Salisbury Cathedral, where she enjoyed the daily evensongs, singing 4 to 5 services a week. With the choir, she sang parts of Blow's Dido and Aeneas at the Wigmore Hall with The Theatre of the Ayre, lutenist Elizabeth Kenny and Elin Manahan-Thomas (soprano). Rosanna sang in parts of Henry Lawes' Comus, with Elizabeth Kenny and the Theatre of the Ayre in Southampton University, of which a recording has been made. Rosanna has also sung with the Romsey singers. Recent performances include Handel Dixit Dominus, Durufle Requiem, Mozart Coronation Mass and Faure Requiem. Rosanna also plays the cello, and achieved Grade 8 Distinction. Following an Eton Choral course Rosanna now sings with the Rodolphus Choir. She is currently a Walter Stanton Music Scholar at Lancing College and enjoys singing and playing in a variety of groups. Rosanna is an aspiring young singer who hopes to sing with the Sixteen.
