Hi - I'm Rory! I've been performing in the wedding and events industry for 15 years and I've always been incredibly grateful to get to call this what I do for a living. I specialise in alternative, rock and emo hits as well as performing modern pop, classic rock and indie hits from every year - you want big sing-alongs at your wedding or even?... I'm your guy! I have performed as a solo artist, alongside numerous bands and worked for management companies and agencies in the wedding and entertainment industry consistently over the last decade. I LOVE what I do and getting to know my clients, couples and other peers in the industry is why I love what I do. I've performed in internationally renowned venues in the UK and abroad and I am also a performer and director of a touring Classic Rock theatre show. I live and breathe music, and performing live is exactly where I want to be ALL the time. Whether it's the magic and glamour of weddings or the thrill of a Live theatre show - I love every aspect of this industry and that passion and dedication absolutely shines through when you boom me for your event! :-)

Rory played an amazing show at our wedding. We 100% recommend! Great set list taking into account our tastes and got everyone singing along. What do your clients love most about your performances?

As cliche as it sounds - I tend to think my strength lies in my voice and I think it's exactly why my clients book me and love having me as part of their big day. I receive a lot of compliments about my repertoire as it accommodates for everyone and I think it helps everyone to feel involved in the performance and able to singalong - whatever the song!

Which venues have you performed at in the past?

I have performed at Sports venues such as Swansea.com, Cardiff City and Principality Stadiums for numerous conferences and corporate events. I have also performed at the Velodrom in Berlin, Germany alongside countless theatres all over the UK as part of my live theatre performances.

Which artists have you been most influenced by?

I am a rock and classic rock fan-boy at heart - and this definitely influences the style of my performances. I love Foo Fighters, AC/DC, Queen and Journey, but I also love soft-rock and country styles such as John Mayer, Chris Stapleton, Brandi Carlile and Sheryl Crow too.

What is the most high profile gig you've performed?

As part of my theatre company 'The Ultimate Classic Rock Show' we have performed sold out shows in Cardiff's Wales Millennium Centre, and also performed in venues such as London's O2 Academy and Swansea Arena to name but a few.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

I will always try my best to be flexible to help ensure your event/wedding runs as smoothly as possible. If timings change slightly in the run up to the event just let me know.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

Absolutely. This is a really popular request and I'm more than happy offer this service for free to take you through right up until your wedding breakfast.

How much time do you need to set up?

My set up is minimal and requires around 20-30 minutes to set up - I need a further 15 minutes to allow me to change in to my performance attire as well.

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

I have worked hard to ensure that my sets are as perfect as they can be for your big day in terms of what gets your guests singing and dancing throughout. However, I am definitely happy to chat through and make sure you're happy with the choice of songs! :-)

Do you bring all the equipment you need to perform?

I am entirely self contained - full instrumentation and PA set up included, and lighting - should you require it. Most of my afternoon performances tend to be outside (weather permitting) so this isn't always necessary but it's entirely up to you.

Can you learn song requests before the event?

Of course! Sometimes there are rehearsal fees for this service to take into account rehearsal time etc. However I'm happy to take most requests so it's best to let me know your choice/s ASAP to avoid any last minute rushes! :-)
