The flexible band setup can range from solo piano for more intimate settings, to a full sextet comprised of vocals, horns, keys, bass, and drums. Jack was excellent to communicate with in the run up to the wedding and he and his band performed extremely well for the champagne wedding reception. Jack (drums) and the saxophonist even agreed to stay for the dancing post dinner to jam with the DJ as they walked around the dance floor with their instruments. Such great value

We cannot recommend the members of Room 9 Collective too highly. The standard of their musicianship and breadth and style of their repertoire was fantastic. Plus, they are really nice people ! They played two great sets for our 25th anniversary and helped create a great vibe for the day. Everybody was asking how we found them. We’ll be booking them again. Tony and Sylvie

Great and professional band, fab music and top musicians. We booked the Room 9 Collective both the duo and a quartet, they gave our already wonderful day the perfect atmosphere.

Customer questions

Will the singer be the same as who I see in the videos?

We strive to make sure the line-up you see is what you get on the night. We do have pre-audititioned 'dep' musicians available in case a band member falls ill or is unavailable. As a professional band our reputation means everything so you can be confident that all of our players are of a very high level.

Do you have different line-up options?

Our primary quartet is as follows: Sax, Keys, Bass, Drums. We can reduce this down to a duo of any instrumentation, and also expand out to a septet which includes; Vocals, Trombone & Guitar. (Line-ups above the primary quartet will incur a charge, please get in touch for more information).

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

We always try our best to be flexible to help ensure your event runs as smoothly as possible. If timings change slightly in the run up to the event just let us know. (Any extreme time changes will incur a charge, please get in touch for more information).

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

Absolutely. This is a really popular request and we actually offer this service for free between sets.

How much time do you need to set up?

We usually set up about 1 to 1.5 hours before the performance time. As soon as our PA is set up we can provide a playlist service to help set the atmosphere.

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

Our set lists are crafted from countless performances and learning what works best to ensure guests dance and have an amazing time. However, we're definitely happy to chat through and make sure we find what works for your event.

Is all of the equipment (e.g. PA & lighting) included in your quote?

Our PA and lighting system is included in your quote. We usually require a minimum of 3mtr by 2mtr space to perform.

Can you learn song requests before the event?

If there is a special song you'd like us to learn we are happy to do this for you. There is a fee of £25 per musician per song for this service.
