RockEnergy Biography RockEnergy is a highly experienced classic rock duo delivering the sound, energy and excitement of a full live band. Combining outstanding live vocals, expressive harmonica, powerful guitar and professional backing tracks, we recreate the atmosphere of a full rock band while offering all the flexibility of a two-piece act. Made up of lead vocalist, harmonica player and engaging frontman John Rolfe, together with guitarist Nick Michaels, RockEnergy has entertained audiences at weddings, birthday parties, corporate events, pubs, clubs and private functions throughout the South East. Their on-stage chemistry, professionalism and ability to read an audience ensure every performance is tailored to the occasion. John Rolfe’s powerful vocals, charismatic stage presence and expressive harmonica playing are at the heart of the RockEnergy sound. His natural ability to engage an audience creates a relaxed, fun atmosphere that gets guests involved and keeps the dance floor full from the first song to the last. Nick Michaels brings more than five decades of professional live experience. As a founding member of the commercially successful rock band Bethnal, Nick toured extensively throughout the UK and Europe, appeared on The Old Grey Whistle Test, released two albums and six singles on Phonogram Records, and toured alongside legendary rock band Hawkwind. Today, he combines that wealth of experience with a passion for delivering outstanding live entertainment for every client. RockEnergy’s repertoire spans the very best of classic rock from the 1960s through to today, featuring favourites from artists including The Rolling Stones, Queen, Oasis, The Who, Bryan Adams, Paul Weller, Free, Bad Company, Tom Petty, Stereophonics, Guns N’ Roses and many more. Every performance is carefully tailored to suit your event, whether you’re looking for a lively evening of dancing, classic sing-alongs or a mix of timeless rock favourites.
