What is the most high profile gig you've performed?
I have recorded the symphonic orchestra for Oscar Winning director Luca Guadagnino. A documentary about Salvatore Ferragamo e the tv series "We are who we are".
A phenomenal Symphonic Orchestra with some of the best session players in London and a great recording team.
What if my timings change after I've booked you?
I am rather flexible and i am confident we will find the way to reschedule. I am a freelancer, the nature of my job is quite flexible. If no external professional has been booked and paid for, I am more than happy to adjust to the needs of my customers.
Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?
I am a conductor, I don't think you want a DJ set before or after. But I am very keen to expand the orchestral language to include electronic music, pop and DJs too. I have plenty of experience as a Jazz Orchestra conductor and as a funk/soul leader.
How much time do you need to set up?
It depends on the job I am required to do. If a symphony orchestra needs to be recorded, there will be a team of people taking care of it. The job of a conductor is to be ready for the session, and that takes months. Normally, most of my work involves preparing scores for the session or compose.
Can I pick the pieces you play from the set list?
Of course you can. With preparation and planning, I am happy to conduct or compose in any style. I have a broad experience in a variety of musical styles, you can hear some of my work in the media section.
Do you bring all the equipment you need to perform?
Yes, I will take care of all the scores and all the equipment for the session. I can also help to find the recording space and the recording team more suitable for the session. I am also in touch with a huge number of amazing music professionals around London. From session musicians to technicians and other support, I am more than hapy to help.
Can you learn specific pieces before the event?
Of course. If I know ahead of time, I am happy to prepare any score for the recording or the performance. I have lots of experience in a variety of musical styles, I am sure I am able to learn any score.
