We couldn't be happier that we asked Robin to perform at our wedding ceremony and reception. From the start of our conversation he was always quick to respond, willing to learn new songs and happy to offer his professional recommendations on how we can make the most of him and his piano. My clients value not only my music but also my punctuality, adaptability, and easy-going nature in organising performances. I'm eager to learn new pieces, ensuring personalised events. With a diverse repertoire, I create the perfect musical ambiance for any occasion.

Which venues have you performed at in the past?

I have played at a number of beautiful venue’s including: The Lythe Hill Hotel in Haselmere. The Ravenswood, West Sussex Coltsfoot Country Retreat, Datchworth

Which artists have you been most influenced by?

My musical style is shaped by personal exploration and creativity rather than specific influences. While I appreciate the talents of various artists and pianists, I strive to create performances that reflect my own unique voice and interpretation. This approach allows me to craft captivating and memorable experiences for my audience.

What is the most high profile gig you've performed?

I've had the privilege of performing at several high-profile events, with weddings being among the most notable. These occasions are special as they allow me to contribute to the cherished memories of couples and their guests through music.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

I will always try my best to be flexible to help ensure your event runs as smoothly as possible. If timings change slightly in the run up to the event just let me know.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

This isn’t something I provide.

How much time do you need to set up?

I usually set up about 1 to 1.5 hours before the performance time.

If I have a piano at my venue, are you happy to perform on that?

Yes, of course - as long as the piano is in working order and in tune, then I'm very happy to play on it!

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

Absolutely. I am also happy to learn one extra song of your choice at no extra cost, granted there’s a reasonable amount of time in advance.

Are you able to bring your own piano or keyboard?

Yes, absolutely! I bring my own instrument to play acoustically.

Can you learn song requests before the event?

If a song isn't included in my song list, there may still be a chance I already know it. If there is a special song you'd like me to learn, I am happy to do one song for free. There is then a fee of £30 for any additional songs to take into account rehearsal times etc.
