Marino Roberta was born in Palermo on 24 february 1994, from an early age it shows great interest and potentiality in classical music and started studying it at age six. She started to study clarinet at the age of 7 .
10 cum laude with honors at the Conservatorio V. Bellini in Palermo,under the guide of M° Giuseppe Balbi (Principal Clarinet at Teatro Massimo in Palermo),she took part in numerous events and projects promoted and organized by the Orchestra Sinfonica Siciliana, the winds department of the Conservatory under the direction of Maestro Angelo Faja; the group of woodwind instruments of Conservatorio V. Bellini in Palermo, various projects promoted by the Chamber Music department in the Conservatory in collaboration with Fondazione Teatro Massimo of Palermo where she performed several times in duo with the piano.
From 2011 to now works closely with the orchestra of the Conservatorio V. Bellini of Palermo with which participates in numerous concerts as Principal Clarinet, and she has the possibility to work and with famous artist like Nicola Piovani, Desireè Rancatore, Simone Alaimo, Calogero Palermo, Gaetano D’espinosa and other.
In November 2014 She performed the Mozart Concerto K622 for clarinet and orchestra under the direction of M° Giseppe Cataldo at Teatro Politeama in Palermo for “Friends Of Music season” in Palermo,and at the Conservatorio V. Bellini in Palermo for the season Concert 2014.
From 2014 to now She collaborated several times with the Orchestra Sinfonica Siciliana and the Mediterranean Youth Orchestra always as Principal Clarinet having way of playing under the guide of conductors of international fame and performing in three Tour s in Lebanon in collaboration with the conductor Toufic Maatouk during some important festivals like Beirut Chants and others.
In February 2015 at the auditorium RAI was invited to perform in world premiere “Kahlil”, piece composed by the young composer and conductor M° Alberto Maniaci for solo clarinet and string orchestra with the “Salvatore Cicero” chamber orchestra. In April 2015 made the Regional Competition for Young Female Talents of the National Music in Genova and resulting first place and in the same year from June 25 to July 2 she performed at EXPO as a soloist at the Italian pavilion to which she was invited as the best Sicilian talent.
In April 2016 She took a second Degree in Clarinet at “Conservatorio V. Bellini” in Palermo with 110 Cum Laude and Honor’s Mention.
Now she is studying at Guildhall School Of Music and Drama, she is attending the first year in the course: Master in Orchestral Artistry in Collaboration with London Symphony Orchestra and she is studying under the guide of M° Andrew Marriner ( Principal Clarinet at London Symphony Orchestra).
She was the principal clarinet at the Induction Concert in the Barbican Theatre of the Guildhall Symphony Orchestra with teh conductor Adrian Leaper and the Baritone Christopher Cull.
