Hi guys, I'm a classically trained musician but can/have applied (hopefully successfully) my skills to many other of genres on different instruments. At the moment, I am focusing on the Bass Guitar but I have had 13+ years experience on the cello and 5+ years experience on jazz piano. Having perfect pitch, really helps me pick up music quickly by ear and also to sightread, courtesy of Chets. From Chets and other encounters, I have gained valuable skills in the wedding string quartet business as a cellist in 'Serenade String Quartet'. Such as punctuality, making quick affinities with players I haven't met before and playing loudly and on beat (for the raucous crowds), which is surprisingly important. This experience has also given me the honour of playing with musicians that are in the BBC Philharmonic, the Halle orchestra, the Manchester Camerata and all sorts of high end professional players. I always to try to be fun but professional. I have always put the needs of the employer before my own creative inputs but if I'm asked to go free reign on anything, that is exactly what I will do. If I'm required to record anything, I will do everything in my power to do my work as accurately and quickly as possible (I know how expensive it can be). In general this is what I will do in any setting. I will not waste any time.
