Since learning how to play bagpipes from 7 years old, having been taught by my father who has also been a piper from a very young age, I have travelled the world competing in numerous pipe bands in England, Scotland, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand and Canada. I have also toured across Germany with the Scottish music parade performing at numerous venues. I can play by ear which essentially means that if something can be played on the bagpipes I will be able to play it. Performing at events for me is more than just performing. It is the feeling that I am making the occasion special and something to be remembered.
