Rob Godfrey performed his solo Guest Entertainer show ‘All Beast, No Beauty’ twice in the Supper Club venue on the Norwegian Escape while onboard as a Production Cast member. His vocal ability combined with his instrumental skills were matched only by his comedic storytelling, engaging audiences both between his songs as well as during them.

Customer questions

What do your clients love most about your performances?

I tend to get a lot of compliments on my unusual renditions of some pop classics. In my original music gigs I tend to get comments about how comedic the performances are. I will however not be tempted to turn your wedding / event into a comedy set!

Which venues have you performed at in the past?

Ronnie Scott's, Sofar Sounds gigs across Europe, Cambridge Folk Festival, Cruise Ships, Bars, Hotels, Weddings, Funerals etc.

Which artists have you been most influenced by?

John Martyn, Richard Thompson, Joni Mitchell, Otis Redding, The Beatles, but to name a few.

What is the most high profile gig you've performed?

I have performed with the West End Musical production of Choir of Man at West End Live at Trafalgar Square in front of 10,000 people.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

Providing it doesn't clash with anything else then more than happy to be flexible.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

I have an iPod aux that plugs straight into my PA. Requests welcome!

How much time do you need to set up?

It's a fairly simple set up so I tend to require 30 mins maximum, always happy to arrive earlier for a natter too!

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

Yes that's absolutely fine, and encouraged if anything!

Do you bring all the equipment you need to perform?

I do, it's a fairly stripped back setup, guitar, microphone and PA system, nice and simple.

Can you learn song requests before the event?

I am happy to take on suggestions, and providing I have enough notice I will try and add a couple of songs, very much dependant on timing of booking. I always like extending my rep so suggestions are welcome either way!
