Rowan and Michael met at Leeds Conservatoire while they studied their respective Master of Arts degrees in music. Having worked together in a band, they formed an acoustic duo to perform covers of songs that they and everyone else would enjoy. Rowan and Michael have found that people love to hear songs they know in a knew way and the energy they bring to a performance gets everyone dancing and singing along. From this they have created a full band, with Ben on bass and Michael playing a full kit as well. PA system, lighting, DJ service - you name it, they can provide it.

Customer questions

Do you have different line-up options?

Yes, we come as either an acoustic duo or trio. Alongside Ro Yaxley on acoustic guitar and lead vocals, we can include percussion (+backing vocals) and/or acoustic/upright bass.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

We are relatively flexible. Depending on what day and how much notice we are given we are able to work around you.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

Yes, we have many DJ’s happy to work with us, for an additional fee. We are also able to connect to Spotify and use any playlist you like or tailor music to suit any setting.

How much time do you need to set up?

Depending on the venue and what equipment we would be using or providing, on average no more than 20/30 minutes.

Can you roam around while you perform?

If requested in advance, we can perform standing and move around on stage to a certain extent. If performing fully acoustically this is much more achievable.

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

Yes, we are happy to play anything we already know and have rehearsed. If given enough notice we are potentially able to learn a few specific requests for you as well.
