Rita Moutinho

Born in Porto, Portugal, I began my musical studies at the age of ten. I started at Academia de Música de Costa Cabral and ARTAVE - Escola Profissional Artística do Vale do Ave, before moving abroad. In 2018, I was awarded a private scholarship to study at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama in London under Stefan Popov, where I completed my Bachelor’s degree with merit in 2021. I then pursued a shortened second Bachelor’s degree and a Master’s degree at the Koninklijk Conservatorium Brussels with Jeroen Reuling, while still based in London. Currently, I am a young freelance professional, exploring different kinds of genres and discovering all possible ways of enjoy and play music. I have had the pleasure to perform solo and chamber music in prestigious venues in Porto, Lisbon, London, Brussels, and Amsterdam. I have also been invited to several masterclasses and have collaborated with renowned musicians in chamber music ensembles and various orchestras. If I had to choose a key-word for my life as a musician, I would choose collaboration. I love to play with different people and in different places. It is was gives me the most joy and what I feel makes me learn and know myself as a musician the best.
