Rick Brown

Rick is a highly experienced bagpiper with over 25 years of piping expertise, performing at weddings, funerals, corporate events, and high-profile ceremonies across the UK. His piping journey began at the age of 10 in Burntisland, Fife, under the tuition of Pipe Major Jim Forbes, and has since taken him from youth championships to leading award-winning pipe bands. Throughout his career, Rick has competed at the highest levels, including all five RSPBA Major Championships, and has held senior roles such as Pipe Sergeant and Pipe Major with the Greater Manchester Fire & Rescue Service Pipe Band, leading them to multiple championship victories. Known for his professionalism, musicality, and ability to create a memorable atmosphere, Rick brings a wealth of tradition and passion to every performance — whether it’s an elegant wedding, a moving funeral tribute, or a lively corporate celebration.
