About Richard

I am an acoustic fingerstyle guitarist & singer (covers), who performs at all your various pubs, bars, restaurants, parties & functions
Guitarist
Leeds

Résumé: Richard Stirland (Musician) I have been playing guitar and singing for over 30 years and perform a wide style of songs to many different audiences, from pubs and bars, to functions, parties & restaurants (as background music). I regularly attend open mic acoustic sessions in the area and am used to singing to audiences as well as in a more intimate restaurant setting. I have a very large repertoire of songs (over 500)... ranging from 'A Nightingale Sang In Berkeley Square' (1936) all the way to current day songs, but mainly prefer 60s/70s. I can do instrumental and softly sung songs so not to be too intrusive whilst customers are dining. I can also do requests from my list or learn new songs as appropriate for the occasion.

Richard performed this Saturday at our community Farmers Market. As organisers of the market we were inundated with positive comments from shoppers and stall holders. He performed a wide range of music, had a good rapport with his audience, played with a smile and to top it all for us was very well organised and self sufficient bringing everything he needed to perform - even fingerless gloves as it was cold!!!

Richard Stirland recently performed at an arts event I organised. He was extremely professional, had great charisma and was approachable and friendly. I have also seen him performing at various other events, and I am impressed by his wide repertoire and versatility. I would definitely recommend him for any event or occasion.
