Rhys and Haiven are an upbeat folk duo based in the northwest of the UK. Their unique sound turns pop hits and classics alike into a bright acoustic performance, often embellished with lush vocal harmonies and lively fiddle solos. They are resident musicians for multiple well-known UK venues including The Botanist and JSM Bars. Originating from Wales and the United States, their style and setlist has a wide variety of influences, ranging from Fleetwood Mac to Amy Winehouse and The Lumineers. With experience across the United Kingdom, Rhys and Haiven are seasoned performers perfect for any event!

Which venues have you performed at in the past?

Do you have different line-up options?

As a duo, we offer male and female vocals, violin, and acoustic guitar. Although we do not currently have additional instrument options, we're happy to incorporate requests, such as an instrumental only set or specific genres!

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

We always try our best to be flexible to help ensure your event runs as smoothly as possible. If timings change slightly in the run up to the event just let us know!

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

Yes! We're happy to play music from a playlist either of your choice or curated by us through our PA system in between our performances.

How much time do you need to set up?

We need at least 30 minutes to set up before our scheduled performance time. For private events such as weddings, we prefer to have access to the venue 1.5 hours prior to the start of the event to ensure a thorough soundcheck of the space.

Can you roam around while you perform?

Due to the nature of our instruments and PA system, we aren't able to roam around freely across the venue while we perform, but can move around somewhat near the performance area.

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

Our set lists have been curated from countless performances, hours of practicing, and years of professional experience to ensure we bring the best energy possible to your event. However, we are always happy to discuss any specific requests and go over all of our current material we intend of performing during your consultation.

Is all of the equipment (e.g. PA & lighting) included in your quote?

Our PA system and all required instrument equipment is included in your quote.

Can you learn song requests before the event?

Yes we can! We're always happy to take song requests as long as we have at least 2 weeks notice prior to your event.
