Relativity

Relativity is a project put together by Ken Evans, a multi instrumentalist, singer, songwriter and producer of some 40 years, having put his first band together in 1988 - Razor Edge. Relativity features Ken's son Cody, who is also a skilled multi instrumentalist having been taught by Ken over the last 14 years, since Cody was 3 years old. He showed an interest early on for the keyboard and was also singing as soon as he could make a sound. Cody has progressed amazingly over the years and recently won the prestigious Malling School Academic Award for Music. Forming a duo was always something Ken had in mind and they have both played together in various capacities since around 2019 when Cody was able to get to grips with a full size piano. This year, 2025, Cody was gifted a Korg Nautilus with the generous help of Spike Edney (Queen) and Korg UK. He uses his precious workstation on every gig. Cody continues to study for his Baccalaureate in Film and Performing Arts at Malling as well as Attending Showtime Performing Arts Academy. Cody is also a keen pilot and working towards his PPL. Talking of Queen, Ken has worked with all the members of Queen bar Freddie and with a whole host of other famous UK artists as both a director of filmed productions as well as technical crew. The list is amazing: Lionel Richie, Lulu, Melanie C, Fish-Marillion, Tony Hadley-Spandau Ballet, Leo Sayer, Chris Thompson-Manfred Man, Roy Wood, Paul Young, Madeline Bell, Toyah, Tom Robinson, Justin Hawkins, Rufus Taylor, Midge Ure, Graham Gouldman-10cc, Jack Bruce, Jeff Scott Soto, Jamie Moses, Roachford, Patti Russo and many more. Ken has travelled around the world with the SAS Band for almost 30 years and had many adventures along the way. Ken retells many of these stories at the gigs, so it's as much of a night of Rock and Roll tales as well as great music.
