About Rebekah

Powerhouse vocalist bringing Soul, Motown, R&B, Disco & Pop to weddings, parties and events across the UK
Singer
Manchester
Public liability insurance of £5 million

I’m a professional vocalist specialising in Soul, Motown, R&B, Disco and Pop, bringing powerful vocals, personality and plenty of energy to weddings, parties, corporate events and live venues. My performances are all about creating the right atmosphere for the occasion. Whether you’re looking for beautiful, soulful vocals during a wedding ceremony or drinks reception, or a high-energy evening set that gets everyone up dancing, I tailor my performance to suit the event and the crowd. My repertoire covers everything from timeless Soul and Motown classics to Disco floor-fillers, R&B favourites, modern Pop and big vocal ballads. I love artists such as Whitney Houston, Aretha Franklin, Diana Ross, Tina Turner, Chaka Khan and Beyoncé, and my sets are designed to include those instantly recognisable songs that guests can sing and dance along to. I’m equally comfortable delivering an intimate, stripped-back performance or stepping things up for a full party atmosphere. My priority is always to make the performance feel personal, professional and memorable rather than simply working through a set list. I’m friendly, reliable and easy to work with, and I understand how important the entertainment is when you’re planning a special event. From the initial enquiry through to the performance itself, I’ll work with you to make sure the music fits the occasion. If you’re looking for a confident vocalist with a big voice, a soulful sound and plenty of stage presence, I’d love to be part of your event

Customer questions

What do your clients love most about your performances?

Clients often comment on my powerful vocals, warm personality and ability to connect with an audience. I love reading the room and creating the right atmosphere, whether that’s an emotional ceremony moment or getting everyone singing and dancing at a party.

Which venues have you performed at in the past?

I’ve performed at Manchester’s AO Arena for a corporate event with a function band, Manchester Opera House, Benidorm Palace and major theatres across the UK as part of the Whitney and Tina tribute tours, alongside a wide range of wedding and event venues.

Which artists have you been most influenced by?

My biggest influences are powerhouse vocalists and soul legends including Whitney Houston, Aretha Franklin, Tina Turner, Chaka Khan, Diana Ross and Beyoncé. I love artists who combine incredible vocals with personality, emotion and real stage presence.

What is the most high profile gig you've performed?

One of my highest-profile performances was at Manchester’s AO Arena, performing with a function band for a corporate event. I’ve also toured major UK theatres as part of the Whitney and Tina tribute productions, including Manchester Opera House, Benidorm Palace and venues in Glasgow and Belfast.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

I understand that event timings can change! I’ll always do my best to be flexible where possible. Just let me know as soon as you can and we can work together to make sure everything still runs smoothly.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

Yes! I can provide background music through the PA between my live sets to keep the atmosphere going. If you have particular songs or a playlist you’d like played, just let me know beforehand.

How much time do you need to set up?

I usually allow around 60 to 90minutes to set up and soundcheck before the performance. I’ll always liaise with you or the venue beforehand to make sure everything is ready with plenty of time before your guests arrive.

Can I pick the pieces you play from the set list?

Absolutely! You’re welcome to choose your favourites from my repertoire. I’m also happy to help build the set around the atmosphere you want, whether that’s soulful background music, big singalongs or a full dance-floor set.

Do you bring all the equipment you need to perform?

Yes. I can provide the equipment required for my solo performance, including PA and microphone. If the venue already has an in-house sound system, I’m also very happy to work with their setup and sound team.

Can you learn specific pieces before the event?

Definitely. I’m happy to learn a special song for your event, whether it’s a first dance, ceremony song or simply a favourite. Just let me know with plenty of notice so I can make sure it’s performance-ready for the day.
