About Rebecca

Rebecca is currently finishing her masters in Freiburg but frequently works and travels to London.

Rebecca is currently studying as a masters student at the Freiburg Musikhochschule with Lucas Macias Navarro. She finished her undergraduate in classical Oboe at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in 2014. Most recently she has played with the Royal Northern Sinfonia and has also recently travelled to India as part of the Bombay Chamber Orchestra. She has played in the London Sinfonietta Academy and has also been away with the Travelling Notes Festival to Georgia. She recently took part in the Vocal Futures project, a side-by-side scheme where she sat next to Joseph Sanders. She played principal in the opening concerts for Guildhall’s new building-Milton Court and in 2012-13 she played principal oboe in the University of London Symphony Orchestra. Her quintet has been to Portugal as part of the HARMOS festival and have won the June Emerson prize from Guildhall School of Music and Drama. She has also played concertos in Wells Cathedral School and with Newbury Chamber choir.
