An avid pedagogue, Miss Leshures was a faculty member at Bergen Academy of Music and Art and the Piano School of New York, in addition to maintaining her own private studio. From 2012-2014 she immersed herself in the composition of a new work, Okay Cupid the Musical. This project evolved through performances in Manhattan and launched into a full production preview, where Miss Leshures performed as pianist and directed a seven-piece ensemble. The musical was performed in April 2015 in the finalist round of the New Jersey Playwright Competition.
