ABRSM Grade 8 in Cello, Oboe and Piano. At the university of bristol, Rafaella sung with The Bristol University Madrigal Ensemble, The Bristol Suspensions & Pitch Fight (a cappella groups), The Operatic society, University Singers, Chamber Choir and various ad hoc consorts and church choirs in the area. She has also sung with The Rodolfus Choir and Coromata. Whilst at school she was a girl chorister at Guildford Cathedral for 7 years, including singing for the queen, featured solos on radio broadcasts and professional performances. At university Rafaella played with the Symphony and Chamber orchestras as well as organising several concerts with the Bristol cello octet. Before university, she was principal cellist for the Surrey County Youth Orchestra and was fortunate to play the Saint-Saens cello concerto in May 2013. She enjoys attending a residential chamber music course every summer. Rafaella is also a keen composer and arranger.
