Rachel is a keen orchestral and chamber musician, having played with ensembles such as RNCM Symphony Orchestra, Hertfordshire County Youth Orchestra (principal) under the direction of Peter Stark, Hatfield Chamber Orchestra, Hitchin Chamber Orchestra and Hertfordshire Philharmonia. She won first place in the Peter Lambourne Bursary Prize based in North Hertfordshire in 2014. Currently based in Manchester, studying under Gillian Thoday at RNCM, Rachel regularly works on a freelance basis for various orchestras and event music providers in Yorkshire and the Northwest.
