Rachel is currently studying for a BMus (Hons) degree (French Horn Performance) at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance in London. Tutored by Michael Murray and Roger Montgomery, she appears in orchestral, opera, brass band and musical theatre productions in and around London.
Rachel has performed at prestigious venues including the Royal Albert Hall, Glyndebourne Opera House, Slovak Radio Concert Hall, Bayeux Cathedral and other major venues across Europe. She has also performed under prominent conductors such as Sian Edwards, Colin Metters and Sir Mark Elder.
Rachel has undertaken tours to France, Belgium, Germany, Czech Republic and Slovakia where she performed large scale orchestral works such as Mahler 1 and Dvorak 9 – “New World Symphony”.
As well as playing the modern horn, Rachel is also a keen Natural Horn player, studying under Roger Montgomery. She has performed orchestral works such as Beethoven 1, Mozart 36 and Haydn 104 on this instrument.
