I’m Aussie Gordon, bass player and marketing manager for ROCKA HILLBILLIES. We’ve been rated one of central Scotland’s two most popular, authentic Rock’N’Roll, dance bands, naturally including Classic 60's favourites too. This is the feedback from the enormous number of venues who’ve booked us - plus electronic ratings. We would be delighted to play at your function Rocka Hillbillies have been Rocking in Scotland since early 2014. A band devoted to recreating the authentic sounds of 50s and early 60's Rock'N'Roll. Just think of the key bands that influenced the Rolling Stones, Beatles, and CCR ,etc. -and the answer is Elvis, Carl Perkins, Everly Bros, Buddy Holly, Roy Orbison, Johnny Cash, and Chuck Berry. ROCKA HILLBILLIES play songs from every 50's/60's artist that we've listed above! We're very reliable, business-like, and most importantly…we play Classic Rock'N'Roll on a note for note basis with the originals. We play a large range of Social Clubs in addition to Private Functions, Holiday camps, Music Festivals…and a selected range of Scotland’s popular pubs. We’ve played from Lossiemouth to Dunbar Music Festival. We concentrate in the Edinburgh and Lothians vicinity for most engagements. Our drummer, Bill, is a living legend…, a veteran of the original rockabilly scene, who famously backed Johnny Cash on his first UK tour.
