Who are we? We are Daisy and Dhil, two friends who upon a chance meeting, connected over our shared passion for music. We wanted to bridge the gap between the past and present eras and began creating our own arrangements of our favourite classics, the rest is history! What can you expect? We aim to achieve a seamless blend of acoustic and electronic elements that transport audiences on a journey. Drawing inspiration from the golden age of music and infusing it with a modern twist, we offer a fresh perspective on beloved pop classics Who is Daisy? Daisy is a lover of all things jazz, originally trained in Musical Theatre, after travelling the world onboard cruise ships, she then settled in London and has performed on stages across London in shows such as Doctor Who: Time Fracture, Beauty and the Beast, Moulin Rouge and Peaky Blinders. Who is Dhil? Dhil enjoys an eclectic mix of genres spanning from his roots in classical music to latin fusion, rock, electro and everything in between. He has worked as a touring and session musician writing / recording and performing with various projects with some of the UK's finest musicians / producers. His passion for unique arrangements by genre blending through live music has taken him all across the UK and internationally, performing at some very prestigious events and venues in original and award winning party bands. What influences RIVIERAS style of music? RIVIERAS is greatly influenced by the infamous PostModern Jukebox, their arrangements have inspired us to bring vintage life to everyone’s favourite pop classics. Other influential artists include Scary Pockets, Amy Whinehouse and Ella Fitzgerald. We aim to capture the magic golden Hollywood era within our performance. What is your most high profile gig? Some of our favourite clients include: Formula 1, Playstation, Natural History Museum, Shell, EE, Barclays, British Travel Awards, Body Shop, British Army, Herbalife. Most importantly, we consider every performance ‘high profile’ whether that be an intimate, low scale acoustic performance to large parties for large audiences, we aim to make each experience as special as we can.
