Absolute party band RAZORZ are a very experienced party & function band playing the best songs of the previous 60 or so years with some recent chart hits and lots more. We take care & pride in the professional approach we bring to our planning, preparation & performance. This enables us to offer a high quality & memorable experience to everyone that books us. People often ask us what type of music we play. The best answer is that we play a bit of everything, to suit the occasion & the audience. We have a regularly updated repertoire of well over 150 songs in a whole variety of up tempo styles, designed to get our audiences up on their feet & dancing, with a few ballads for those slow & smoochy moments. Our influences are best described as quality music from the present day & all points back to the 1950s. Lively songs (& a few ballads) that allow us to engage & involve the audience: Funk, Disco, Rock’n’Roll, Rock, Pop, Reggae, Country, Latin, Soul, Ballads & more. If you want Jazz standards, maybe as dinner jazz while you eat before the function or party we can do this as well. We're happy to learn & play that special song for your wedding or party, unless you want death metal or Val Doonican! THE RAZORZ are:- RAZ: Piano, keyboards, guitar, lead vocals. Raz is a vastly experienced performer & a properly trained musician with experience of playing across Europe. TREV: Lead guitar, backing vocals. Trev has a huge repertoire & a solo for every occasion. His musical travels have taken him as far as Turkey & Mexico CHRIS: Drums, percussion. Chris is a natural, talented and versatile drummer who has gained a wealth of experience from playing since a young age . STEVE: Bass. He has played in bands with guitarist Trev for over 20 years & has performed as far away as Austria & Singapore Our gigs have included numerous weddings, social events, parties & sports club functions as well as playing in pubs & social clubs.
