Queensgate Quartet

Having formed to sing at a friend’s Stag Do in an actual Barber Shop, the initial aim of Queensgate Quartet was simple; to get together and sing music that we loved. This started as a small selection of traditional Barbershop numbers and a couple of new arrangements, but quickly grew to include folk, classical and contemporary styles as each of us brought our own tastes to the table. This in turn led to a series of successful gigs that has inspired us to raise the bar and expand our scope and ambition by growing our repertoire, gigging on a more regular basis and recording our first album. Outside of the group, we are all involved in a variety of other musical activities, from composing and conducting to singing in musical theatre groups and indie bands! We are a fun, talented and easy-to-work-with bunch with a joy for singing that really rubs off on our audiences.
