The Queen Victoria's Consort brass ensemble is the unique sound of historical brass instruments played by the UK's top brass musicians. Jeremy West, Robert Vanryne and Sue Addison and Andrew Kershaw are all sought-after professional musicians in their own right (hailing from the City of Birmingham Orchestra, Shakespeare's Globe and the BBC), but Queen Victoria's Consort was born out of a shared passion for the Victorian era. Our period costumes, music and historic detail make a Queen Victoria's Consort appearances a truly special, immersive and high-quality experience. Queen Victoria's Consort has played everywhere from Buckingham Palace to railway platforms. Our top class musicians restore and play original Victorian brass instruments, which have a gentler sound than their modern counterparts. Perfect for providing a warm background sound at wedding receptions. We'll work with you to provide warm, lively tailored performances for your wedding, Victorian-themed event, traditional Christmas festival or corporate event. We also offer something for the whole family with our acclaimed "Victorian Kitchen Band" workshops. And our love of meeting new audiences and introducing them to this unique musical sound is what we want you to take away. The QVC were an integral part of our event, providing entertainment, historical context and most importantly a bit of pageantry and fun. As sometimes happens at heritage vehicle events, we had to make some adjustments to our planned schedule during the event, and during this potentially stressful time you were invaluable, providing a wonderful focal point for our guests on the station platform. Thank you to you and the other musicians for everything you did to make the event a success
