FULLY LIVE 7 PIECE BAND Pulse are Scotland’s premier live wedding and function band, combining top class vocals with outstanding musicianship to deliver an evening you and your guests will never forget. We love providing entertainment for weddings, functions and corporate events in Glasgow, Ayrshire, southwest and central Scotland. SOMETHING DIFFERENT Our line-up is enhanced by our three part horn section who add a touch of class and a bucketload of power as well as providing authentic sounds for soul, motown and disco tracks. All the horn charts are bespoke in-house arrangements, so you won’t hear them anywhere else. Comprising of trumpet, saxophone and trombone, each superb in their own right, together they will blow your socks off!.. A NIGHT TO REMEMBER Hundreds of happy couples can’t be wrong. With male and female singers, repertoire to suit all tastes, and an energetic, fun live performance, we will get the party started and keep the dancefloor rocking all night. We’ve been playing at weddings for many years and we absolutely love what we do. QUALITY We stand above the rest as one of the few truly professional wedding bands that always bring a sound engineer to every gig to control our PA and lighting. This means the volume is always at a suitable level for everyone’s comfort. VOCALS We don’t have just one lead singer, we have three! We feature both male and female vocals, complementing each other with tight harmonies. This allows huge versatility, meaning we can cover a wide range of music offering something for everyone, and keeping your guests dancing all night. In addition, all our singers play instruments too, meaning you get a ten piece band sound from just seven performers.

Please pass on to everyone our huge thanks for being a very big part of making our party last night a great success. We have had lots of emails and texts from friends today and 100% of them say what a great band you are! We had a great time and my sore feet today are testament to the irresistible call of the music - more dancing than I have done in ages!

Customer questions

Will the singer be the same as who I see in the videos?

We strive to make sure the line-up you see is what you get on the night. We do have pre-audititioned 'dep' musicians available in case a band member falls ill or is unavailable. As a professional band our reputation means everything so you can be confident that all of our players are of a very high level.

Do you have different line-up options?

Our line-up is as follows: 3 x Vocals, Guitar, Keys, Drums, Bass, Trumpet, Saxophone, Trombone.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

We will also provide background music during our short break and can include live music for some ceilidh dancing during the night if requested, all of which will be fully called.

How much time do you need to set up?

We usually need access to the stage about 1 hour before the performance time.

Is all of the equipment (e.g. PA & lighting) included in your quote?

Our PA and lighting system is included in your quote.

Can you learn song requests before the event?

We will learn your choice of song for your first dance if it is not already in our extensive repertoire, or learn another special track for you if we already know it.
