Presuming Ed are a function band for weddings, parties and events, who cover Wales and the South West of England, and have been doing so for over ten years. With Presuming Ed you’re guaranteed a professional set up, great tunes to get your guests dancing whether they’re 18 or 80 and a fantastic party! Presuming Ed are a six piece band made up of highly skilled, experienced professional musicians. Performance is a big thing with the band, their musicality is matched by their enthusiasm and passion, and their aim is to get all your guests up onto the dance floor! The band’s set list is designed to bring the party to your event, with songs from the 60’s to the present day. As we have a male and a female singer we can successfully perform most genres and songs from the last 50 years! When you book Presuming Ed there are no unexpected extras. We have our own professional sound system and lights. We guarantee that we will be set up within an hour of getting into a venue, and our up to date Disco set will be playing as your guests arrive. Included in the price of hire is music until midnight (when we are not playing ourselves we will revert to our disco setup.) Our set list will be hand picked for your event, to your specific needs. We have an ever changing repertoire; 60’s nostalgia, 70’s glam and disco, classics from the 80’s and a wide selection of hits from the 90’s right up to the present day, all performed absolutely live with no backing tracks! We have a wide selection of options for your first dance also, and always try to cater for any special musical requests. When you hire Presuming Ed you get as standard: Two 50 minute sets of music Recorded music from set up till midnight Full professional PA system and lights Comprehensive public liability insurance A contract for your piece of mind We will always try and cater for any requests such as a special first dance or song. A smaller PA system and microphones for hire if you need these for your speeches. We can also provide extra musicians to provide ambient music for drinks receptions or the wedding breakfast, including string quartet, classical guitar, piano or a laid back jazz set!
