What do your clients love most about your performances?
Clients love the infectious energy we bring to every set. Whether it's a wedding or a corporate gala, we specialize in reading the room and keeping the dance floor packed. Our ability to blend classic hits with modern floor-fillers ensures that every guest, regardless of age, feels part of the celebration.
Which venues have you performed at in the past?
Based in Birmingham, I perform across the West Midlands and frequently travel to London and nationwide. Notable venues include The Jam House and The Belfry in the Midlands, plus high-end spots like 100 Wardour St in London. Experienced with both luxury weddings and corporate events, I am fully mobile and equipped for travel across the UK.
Which artists have you been most influenced by?
I am a self-taught performer with deep roots in the Bhangra industry. My greatest influence is my uncle, Dave Dholi, who inspired me from a young age and continues to influence my style today. His legacy in the industry drives my passion for delivering high-energy, authentic performances that keep the traditional spirit alive for modern audiences.
What is the most high profile gig you've performed?
My most prestigious performance was playing for Her Majesty The Queen, an absolute career highlight. Internationally, I have performed at the Canada Bhangra Awards and the Fête de la Musique (Paris). These high-profile gigs have given me the experience to handle large-scale stages and diverse audiences with total professionalism and energy.
Do you have different line-up options?
Our Prem Royale Entertainment package is a full-scale production! It includes our powerhouse Singers, high-energy Bhangra Dancers, and thunderous Dhol Players. For a modern twist, we add a professional DJ and a live Band Baja with Snare Drums. It’s an all-in-one luxury line-up designed to keep your dance floor packed from start to finish
What if my timings change after I've booked you?
We know live events can be unpredictable! Prem Royale is committed to being flexible. If your timings shift on the day, just keep us informed. We usually allow a 30-minute buffer at no extra cost. For significant changes or late-night extensions, we can discuss a small overtime fee to ensure the party keeps going without a hitch.
Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?
Yes, we offer a full service! We provide top-quality DJs to keep the music flowing before and between our live sets. Our dhols also feature integrated microphones, allowing us to hook directly into the DJ or PA system for a seamless, high-energy sound that keeps the party going without any interruptions.
How much time do you need to set up?
For a standard Dhol set, we only require 15 minutes to set up before we perform. For our other entertainment packages, setup times vary depending on the equipment involved. We will provide you with a specific, tailored arrival time well in advance once your booking requirements are confirmed to ensure everything runs smoothly.
Can you roam around while you perform?
Absolutely! As a Dhol player, I love to roam and interact with the crowd. Whether it’s leading a grand entrance (Baraat) or bringing the energy directly onto the dance floor, being mobile allows me to create an immersive and high-octane experience for everyone involved.
Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?
Yes, absolutely! I want the music to reflect your style. If you give me a heads-up on your preferred tracks, I can tailor my performance and beats to fit those specific songs. Just let me know your requests in advance so I can ensure the transitions and energy are spot on for your big day.
Is all of the equipment (e.g. PA & lighting) included in your quote?
Yes! We provide our own PA and lighting as part of the quoted price. We want your booking process to be as smooth as possible, so everything required for us to perform is wrapped into the package. Just let us know if your venue has any specific sound or space restrictions!
Can you learn song requests before the event?
Yes, we can! We’re happy to learn special requests to make your event unique. To make sure we give your song the performance it deserves, we require at least one month's notice. If it's already in our master song list, we can add it in right away!
