Poppy Rose

Poppy was enthusiastic and helpful in the weeks leading up to the gig in terms of marketing and fast communication with us about her technical requirements, she helped push ticket sales and sold more tickets than we'd originally planned. Her demeanour was friendly on the day, she came to the venue to set up and sound check many hours before the performance, meaning it was a smooth gig operationally. Poppy not only brought her music but also a cosy atmosphere as well, one which really gelled with our venue. We'd happily book Poppy again in the future.

I hired Poppy for my wife’s (surprise) 50th Birthday party after hearing her play at an outdoor venue with my wife the previous summer. We both remarked at the time how wonderful her music was and how beautiful her voice was. I contacted her after finding her profile on social media and asked her if she would be willing to perform for us. It was a very mixed group from 3 years to 87 years and all who attended loved her performance. She was so obliging from the first contact, willing to learn new songs that were my wife’s favourites and put her own individual style on them. We wanted high quality music that was not too obtrusive. Poppy did two sets for us, remained totally flexible on times and everyone who interacted with her found her such a lovely person. She created such a calm and relaxed atmosphere and felt like a friend or family member - there to please. She bought her own equipment which was high quality so the sound was exceptional. I would hire her again without hesitation, in fact I wouldn’t consider looking anywhere else! This was a feeling shared by many at the party. I cannot recommend Poppy highly enough, she is a beautiful lady inside and out with the voice of an angel accentuated by her skilful guitar playing.
