Poppy is a 18 year old Soprano who has been described by teachers at The Royal Collegw of Music UK as having a phenomenal voice. Poppy's love of music began at the tender age of 3 and has grown to be an all consuming passion . At the age of 14 Poppy was the youngest ever scholar to be offered a specialist vocalist place at Wells Cathedral School of Music in the UK where she has been mentored and developed by the renowned soprano Isobel Buchanan and the Bass Andrew Kidd. Poppy has been very honoured to perform as the chosen soloist on a number of occasions for the BBC, SKY TV, HEART FM ,The original Military Wives Choir, and The Bands of HM Royal Marines to name but a few. Poppys repertoire includes Opera , Classical crossover and pure Classical and Musical theatre. To date Poppy holds the accolade of carrying The Olympic Torch on its first day in the UK, launching The Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal , and most recently being one of the lead sopranos in BBC Radio 3s Choralia. In October 2013 Poppy released the song 'flower' for the teenage cancer trust . "Poppy is an absolute inspiration to my little girl who wants to be just like her when she's older.
