We booked Platinum Pop for a large party in Devon in the summer. The drummer (band leader) and I have had several really helpful conversations around timings, set up, 'special moments' and the possibility of them playing or even learning a new song to suit us. He was incredibly professional, supportive and reassuring. So the evening went without a hitch. The band responded to the vibe in the room and played at the best times. They have a comprehensive play list - epic dance songs to keep everyone on the dance floor. The lead singer has an amazing voice - great energy. Highly recommend them for any event for all ages (we had a mix of dancers from 12 to nearly 90). They accommodated seamlessly my 3 wild children to join the band as guest singers, playing for them 'Proud Mary' and 'Can't Take My Eyes of You' as if they were part of the group. It was for many the highlight of the evening. Pulling this off was remarkable and I am thoroughly grateful to them all for making this happen for us. We have had lots of people who came tell us how great the band was - they were . Thanks Guys

Do you have different line-up options?

We’re a 4 piece that can add on other musicians and singers. What do you have in mind?

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

We are flexible with timings and always work around your needs. However, we do try to keep to a midnight finish as sometimes the drive home is quite long and we need to be safe.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

Yes

How much time do you need to set up?

90 mins from arrival. We need to park load in, set up, Sound check and put on some background music.

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

We craft our set lists to do a specific job. We keep the dance floor full and moving by filtering from one song to the next seamlessly a bit like a DJ would. However, feel free to make suggestions and if possible we can accommodate.

Is all of the equipment (e.g. PA & lighting) included in your quote?

Can you learn song requests before the event?

Yes, we can do this with prior agreement.
