Established now for over 25 years, Planet Abba continues to be one of the UK's leading Abba tribute bands. Originally started by Suzi in 2000, and now taken over by her children who also perform in the band, Planet ABBA truly is a family business, very close to all our hearts. "Their professionally choreographed stage show, with many costume changes, faithfully encapsulates the sights and sounds of this legendary Swedish band and their endless stream of unforgettable hits." Fun fact: Planet Abba were the people inside the animatronic suits used to create the movements of the famous holograms of ABBA WORLD, which premiered in Earls Court London, before touring across the world! We've performed worldwide, including at Jagger Club in St. Petersberg - Russia, where we had the pleasure of performing alongside Joe Lynn Turner - lead singer from Rainbow and Deep Purple. We had the honour of being requested to perform in Madrid for Cartier and we're also lucky to have been guests of honour in Bangalore - India, where we performed for thousands at the launch of a new radio station - just a few highlights of our international travel! Probably one of our biggest honours though, is being personally requested by Sharleen Spiteri (lead singer, Texas) to perform at her wedding! Some other amazing events/ clients we have had the pleasure to perform at/with: The Highland Games, Ikea, Leeds Rhinos, Aresenal Football Club, Airbus, the O2 Academy Leeds, and some incredible theatres up and down the UK. We have even performed in a cave underground (really!) We have had the pleasure of working alongside legends such as Chesney Hawkes, Slade, Mudd, The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, Joe Lynn Turner (Rainbow and Deep Purple) The Real Thing, Jimmy James and the Vagabonds, The Four Tops, Alvin Stardust and Showaddywaddy. Planet Abba was featured on BBC 2's documentary 'Pay off your Mortgage' and were pre-match entertainment for Leeds Rhinos, which also went out live on SKY TV, we've also been interviewed by BBC national news ahead of ABBAs most recent single release! We believe our professionalism, dedication to our craft, and enthusiasm both on and off stage, has secured us our reputation. We are very passionate about what we do, and grateful to be able to do it.
